"Our deepest intention is to be in what is present in connection..." TC Curriculm

5 Principles of Transformational Connection

  1. Commitment to Connection – staying in connection with another person
  2. Owning your Experience – owning who you are in the present moment
  3. Trusting your Experience – trusting how you feel in the present moment
  4. Staying with the Level of Sensation – staying with physical sensations
  5. Being with the other in their World – being curious about the other person

You might think it’s just like any group therapy, but it’s far more than that, it’s about being with what is most alive and real within you in the present moment, the question is “what is it like to be you right now?”.

Not something you are carrying from an hour or even 5 minutes ago, but what is the deeper truth of your state of being right now, whilst relating to another person and sharing that.

Imagine it this way, you are in a group of 6 people, none are going to give you advice or try and change you or how you are feeling, but they will share the impact your words and behaviour has on them.

Its edgy and sometimes downright terrifying but the more you are able to show up in the present, as who you truly are in that moment, the more Self-led and free you become and that is a profound relief.

This practice aligns with therapeutic approaches like IFS, as it supports the creation of a safe, empathetic environment where all parts of a person can be seen, heard and understood, just as with IFS in TC all parts are welcome. By fostering these authentic connections, individuals can experience profound transformative personal growth and a deeper sese of connection to themselves and others.

I offer this as a one to one practice interagted with IFS or as a group therapy, please contact me for further details.
